B) isn't wrong, but there were less indentured servants than slaves, and white people did worse in the sun.
C) also isn't wrong, but many who tried using Caribbean slaves found that it was a lot worse than using African Americans, because the Native Americans weren't as built for manual labor.
D) is wrong because the wages for plantation workers weren't high, if they were even paid at all.
