Rainsford does not hold human life on the same level as animal life. For Rainsford hunting is a sport or a means to gain food, not a mere even to simply kill for the love of killing.
Zaroff's ideas counter this in that Zaroff has progressed to the point where killing humans, the most intelligent beings, has become a sport to him.
The bottom line is that the two men have different world views which influence their actions.

The primary problem is the greenhouse effect. Greenhouse effect is when some gases (including CO2) absorbs some portion of sun's heat to make the atmosphere warm to support life. But when the amount of CO2 etc. increases in the atmosphere, it heats up more than it is required. So, by limiting CO2 emission, we can solve this problem.
Procrastination is: The action of delaying, postponing, or putting off something.
We procrastinate because if we don't feel in the mood to do something, then that's why we procrastinate and put it off for another time.
