I NEED HELP QUICK! PLEASE TRANSLATE THIS!
Natalka [10]
During the colonial years, Mexico's way of life was influenced by European styles and mostly by the French. The rich families had the privilege of wearing dresses and suits imported from France. The women's dresses were long and straight with bell sleeves. The men's suits included a pant with a “carrot” style cut, socks and booties (a type of short boot)

During the Mexican revolution men's style included a jacket or a long sweater and a cup hat. The revolutionary men wore pants, a poncho, sandals, a hat and a hankerchief.

The revolutionary women were the adelitas (idk how to translate this word) They wore a long skirt, shirt, sandals and braids

Hope this helps

marissa [1.9K]

The correct word to fill each sentence in Spanish is:

  1. Mateo fue a Colombia <u>para</u> visitar a su abuela.
  2. Ella estaba enferma; <u>por</u> eso, Mateo decidió ir.
  3. La familia envió muchos regalos <u>para</u> la abuela.
  4. La abuela se puso muy feliz <u>por</u> la visita de Mateo.
  5. Mateo estuvo en Colombia <u>por</u> tres meses.

<h3><em>Differences</em><em> between "</em><em>por</em><em>" and "</em><em>para</em><em>."</em></h3>

The big difference that can be found between these two words is that "por" is used to mention a <u>cause</u>, an approximate place, an <u>approximate time</u>, a means, a price or an equivalence, while "para" is used to mention <u>purpose</u>, address, time limit or <u>addressee</u>, therefore, the situation must be identified and used accordingly.
