Answer:

The Children's Crusades was a march of children. Children from southern France and northern Italy gathered together and marched for Jerusalem. The Children's Crusades eventually failed when they arrived at Genoa. Thousands had already perished on the journey, and no miracles occured at the port. Many children returned home, but others stayed. Those children were later killed in shipwrecks or sold as slaves. People believed that it was the devil's doing and that God was still responsible for all success. Later, the Europeans started another crusade with more vigor because Pope Innocent said that the children put them to shame. While they were fighting for the Holy Land, the adults slept and did nothing.

PLZZZ HELP What are some reasons why a totalitarian government might take power
lutik1710 [3]

Answer:

A totalitarian government might aim to take power because they want to be in control of every aspect of their people's daily lives. They want only their opinions to be accepted, and take out any opposing views. I mainly think that the main reason they do this is to be completely in control. Similar to the USSR, this occurred. There was no individuality in opinions, political beliefs, and freedoms that we have now.
