What motivations and justifications explain U.S. expansion between the Civil War and World War I?
Naddika [18.5K]

After the declaration of independence, the United States did not stop growing. Immigration was incessant at the same time that the discovery of gold, the territorial annexation and the relatively easy access to the land made possible an advance towards the west. The population expanded throughout the territory: the waterways also contributed to this.

At the beginning of the 19th century, what in the history of the United States is known as the "march towards the west, the colonization of the agricultural Midwest by the so-called farmers who were family production units but who were absolutely involved in a capitalist economy, that is, that they were specialized producers that produced for the market.

Which program was intended to overcome the backwardness of China’s economy, technology and industry
tatiyna

The answer is - ''The Great Leap Forward''.

The Great Leap Forward was a program implemented by the Chinese communist party, with Mao Zedong in charge, and its goal was to make China a global superpower over time, instead of being a country in the shade of the others that is struggling on every level.

China was in a bad position economically,  socially, its industry was not well developed, and also had social problems, and all of that contributed that a measure and plan is made as to how the country should and can progress and become a global political and economic player. Unfortunately for them, this measure was a big fail, and instead of making the country stronger, it actually made even more problems and put it in a worse position.
