The idea of manifest destiny greatly helped shape the U.S. governments's policies of land acquisition, since this held that the US was "destined" to expand from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific--meaning that the US embarked on a series of wars with Mexico and confrontations with Natives that helped the settlers move west.

George Mason contributed to the United States Constitution by becoming the chief supporter of the Bill of Rights.

Mason was a delegate to the US Constitutional Convention of 1787. However, at that time, he refused to sign the Constitution alleging the inexistence of the Bill of Rights and objecting the slave trade for navigation acts. what is the value of both primary source and secondary source documents in learning about World War ? Is one better? Are they th
8090 [49]

Answer:

OK so primary and secondary sources are very important and they shape history. The primary source is always better because usually it is like a newspaper or a picture or a book from that time period. Secondary sources are still important they are just not as reliable. An example of one is like someone saying that they saw something happen but they could be lying. Or their perspective might be slightly biased depending on their view.
