Explanation:

The stance of the United Nations towards wars is clear, that it should be avoided by means, and that it is unnecessary and inhumane. This conclusion by the United States has been based on the two world wars that brought so much destruction in the world, with millions of people getting killed, displaced, lost their families and homes. In order for such things to never happen again, the United States have set an agenda for preventing any war between any member nations, and while this has been partial success, it has also been a partial unsuccessful, as there has been lot of wars pretty much every year around the world.
