These lines suggest that Hamlet is resigned to the fact that he is being led into a trap as he is does not fight against the idea of sailing off with them.

Hamlet is often depressed throughout the play; these lines are further proof that he is accepting of the fact his life may not last much longer.

Imagine you are the speaker in ñThe Seafarerî and another seaman has told you to turn away from God and believe in your own abil
Norma-Jean [14]
The Seafarer is a very religious person - he is all alone at sea and there is no one to talk to besides God. He has nothing else left but his faith and if you told him to forget about it, he would cease to exist. He couldn't believe in his own ability to deal with life because he depends on providence and God's plans for him.
Hope this helps a bit! :)

What is the difference between inversion and passive voice?
Sonja [21]

Answer:

Passive voice is more an inversion of meaning than an inversion of syntax. That's because the grammatical subject of the sentence (heart) is still at the beginning of the sentence and is still followed by the verb. In other words, standard subject + verb order prevails.
