It strengthens his relationship with the dwarves. After Thorin risks his life to save Bilbo from Smaug's flames, Bilbo finally feels like a part of the group. It does nothing to change his relationship with the dwarves. Smaug tries to trick Bilbo into leaving the dwarves behind, but Bilbo recognizes Smaug's lies. Margarita [4]
The group of words that will describe the subject.

A predicate noun is a word which renames the noun that has been mentioned in the sentence. In this case Franklin Roosevelt is the noun that has been renamed as "President", which makes it the answer to the question.
Another example in : My brother's favourite food is pizza.
The predicate nominative in the sentence is Pizza. because that is the word that is replacing the earlier mentioned noun, which was "food".

Why is Broadway known as the Great White Way kown as Great White Way?
Ipatiy [6.2K]

It's called that because it was one of the first streets in New York City to be lit with electric lights. People continue to use this term today because the millions of lights on the theatre marquees still brighten up the night sky in a flashing white.
