Answer:

The values of the Western countries

Explanation:

One of the best examples of this concept is what happens to Japan in two different times of its history. After the Edo Period (17th century to the 19th century), and all the isolationism that this historical moment represents, Japan changed its government with the support of the Western countries, especially the United States. This made it open its harbors, accept other cultures, and share the differences. However, gradually, Japanese people became to adopt the West way of life, changing the behavior, and in some cases, the religion. The second moment was after World War II when the United States interfered once again in Japanese polices, changing its constitution (to a representative monarchy, like in Great Britain), and avoiding the country to close itself once again. Japan is today a country that shares the west customs but tries to maintain the old beliefs alive. However, day after day, this is becoming harder.

taurus [48]
Some might try to fit in with the others wether that’s drinking or whatever so that can lead to a drastic negative social change. And a lot of people over think everything when growing up/ going into college which can lead to less social confidence. And a lot of the college involved stress leads to very drastic social changes that are different for everyone
