Since it will no longer have hydrogen, the sun will be much more powerful and bright. As the nucleus is contracting and the sun will grow into a red giant, so is a star that has transformed its nucleus of hydrogen into helium. In the last phase helium is converted to carbon and oxygen, this will give immense growth that will absorb mercury and venus, everything seems to indicate that it will also absorb the earth. Then the sun will lose volume and energy, therefore it will no longer give heat and the solar system will freeze. The sun as a white dwarf, without fuel, will go out.
