To find the area of a trapezoid, you have to a+b divided by 2 times h.

So you would take 11+5 and get 16 divided by 2 which is 8. then multiply that by h which in your case is 6. So the area is 48

Hope this was helpful.

Compare the functions below: Which function has the smallest minimum?
anzhelika [568]

Answer:

D. All three functions have the same minimum value

Step-by-step explanation:

f(x) = -3 sin (x-pi) +2

Sin has a minimum value of -1, but since it is multiplied by a negative, we want its maximum value

sin has a maximum of 1

f (min) = -3(1) +2 = -1

g(x) has a minimum at x =3

g(minimum) = -1

h(x) = (x+7)^2 -1

The smallest a squared value can be is zero

     = 0 -1

h(min) =-1

Could someone give me an answer and explain how you got it ?
tankabanditka [31]

Answer:

A (9, 3)

Step-by-step explanation:

First the point is rotated 90° counterclockwise about the origin.  To do that transformation: (x, y) → (-y, x).

So S(-3, -5) becomes S'(5, -3).

Next, the point is translated +4 units in the x direction and +6 units in the y direction.

So S'(5, -3) becomes S"(9, 3).
