The correct first step in finding the area of a base of a cylinder is to find the length of radius of the circular base.
The Y intercept is (0,275) and the X intercept is (125,0). the intercepts should be the point of when the line hits the axis'

A1 would be the first y value, which is 3 and d is the ratio ( distance between each y value) which is 3 ( add 3 to the y value to get the next one)
The answer is a1= 2, d = 3
