Answer:

C. Three rows of blood thirsty teeth.

Explanation:

Grendel is a fictional character in the epic of "Beowulf". He is an ogre who had troubled the people of Hrothgar, for twelve years. He is descendant of Cain, son of Adam and Eve, who killed his brother Abel in Genesis 4. He is blood-thirsty, resentful and angry monster. He envy's mankind because God had blessed them. So, he terrorizes the mankind by devouring the warriors.

The quotes that describes his quality are:

  1. "an ugly light [that] shone out [from his eyes] like fire" (727).
  2. "that demon, that fiend/Grendel who haunted the moors, the wild/Marshes, and made his home in a hell./Not hell but hell on earth. He was spawned in that slime/Of Cain, murderous creatures banished/ By God, punished forever for the crime/ Of Abel's death" (101-108).
  3. "Grendel's hatred began,/...the monster relished his savage war/ On the Danes, keeping the bloody feud" (151).

The only description that is not mentioned in Beowulf about Grendel is option C.

Write a movie review about a movie you saw .
Free_Kalibri [48]

It’s a classic movie that everyone loves. It was the highlight of my childhood. Watching it again brought back the excitement of a magical world that I always wish existed. I watched Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

It seemed logical at the time not to start from the first of the series – that would be a moment where I question my logic, however it was still as enjoyable as the first. I instantly remembered why this one out of the seven was specifically my favourite. I loved the amount of activities going on in the movie; it also progressed into this magical world we knew little about, so we find out more than we previously may not have even thought about… Unless you read the books like I did. That moment of excitement to actually be able to visualise the Goblet of Fire is something that can only be described by true Harry Potter fans.

I realised whilst watching the movie that it never occurred to me that there would be other magic schools other than Hogwarts. The moment of awe was something I enjoy experiencing repetitively each time I come across the Harry Potter series.

The movie starts with classic reunion of Harry, Hermione and the comedian of the series, Ron. However unlike the others it progresses their relationship as they have clearly grown. It was enjoyable to watch how their relationships shook when other characters were added into the equation. When the plot moved on from the bright and light toned scenes I then questioned how I managed to watch the scenes with the entrance of Voldermort. I wonder how I managed to watch the first Harry Potter movie without being freaked out as a child. Nevertheless it’s a movie that I wouldn’t mind re-watching countless times

A guitar pick, a red balloon, and a wicker basket. Write a scene or a poem that includes these three objects.
Vikentia [17]

Answer:

This is a poem that contains a guitar pick, a red balloon, and a wicker basket.

Explanation:

Looking through the window

Missing the years that have passed

Remember the days I spent at the park

That park gave me wisdom

Throughout my years a favorite object always accompanied me

At ten, it was my red ballon

The one with whom I practiced basketball

And the one that my friends always wanted to take away from me

As a teenager my guitar pick was

Which helped me compose beautiful melodies

Which helped me get to know the woman

With which I would spend the rest of my days

With that same woman it was with whom I acquired another favorite object

Our wicker basket with which we went to the park every day

She made sandwiches and cakes

To this day I can feel its taste

A poem is a literary composition that belongs to the poetic genre. It is generally written in verse and obeys the poetic resources of rhythm, rhyme and meter, although there are also poems in poetic prose.

There are also free verse poems which do not have rhymes.
