1. This relates to the story of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. After Gawain rode in order to find the Green Chapel and face the Green Knight he stays at the castle of the local lord who proposes him a game. He will give Gawain what he caught that day and Gawain was to give him whatever he won that day. On the last day lords wife gives Gawain a green sash that will make him invulnerable and he will need it if he is to survive the meeting with the Green Knight. He withholds this from the lord. Gawain thus breaks his promise and it serves as a reminder of his failure to uphold the knightly ideals. This is why he decides to wear it, as a reminder of his failure.

2. After his fight with the Green Knight, who turned out to be the lord Gawain stayed with, he recounts the tale of his ordeal to his fellow knights. He explains them the importance of the green sash as well. They laugh but agree suggest they begin wearing them for his sake. It is thus through the ages seen as the symbol of honor.

Answer:

Laura Bates offered herself to teach Shakespeare in the maximum security section of a prison in the state of Indiana. What resulted was that the inmates liked the English writer.

Bates decided to share its experience in her book “Shakespeare Saved My Life: Ten Years of Solitary with the Bard. Interviewed by Michael Martin of NRP news, Bates shares the central idea of teaching Shakespeare in a maximum security prison. Bates comments that for many inmates was easy to make sense of some passages of Shakespeare’s works because they had lived something similar or could relate to. Something that scholars found complicated to relate with.

Bates sets the example of “Macbeth”, in which the prisoners related to the story for the inner struggle of the main character and their personal situations. When prisoners got into Macbeth character, that helped them to got inside their own characters.

One of the techniques which is frequently used and which can be often observed in our everyday lives - news, movies, entertainment sector - is Alliteration.

The similar sound of the initial words/first letter in a line/sentence is alliteration. When there is repetition of the letter that produces the same sound while pronouncing, it creates a pattern in how we understand that sentence.

Here, 'float free' is an example of alliteration - f loat f ree - similar sound of initial words. In alliteration, the words of which first letters are repetitive and have a similarity in sound are always consonants.
