In my opinion in high school I have had to right many I would say it would be getting textual evidence together without evidence how do we know any of what you are saying is true the same is true about citing evidence.
A primary data source is the original first hand account of the authors/researchers of a study. Surveys, interviews, questionnaires are all primary data collection tools as they directly access the subjects/volunteers in a study. The data directly comes from their first hand accounts.
