For my psychology class I need to know the parts of the brain. One of the assignments is to make a song about the parts of the b

rain. I AM NOT EXPECTING SOMEONE TO WRITE AN ENTIRE SONG FOR ME. I just NEED IDEAS.
Parts of the brain vocabulary:
Left and right hemisphere
Amygdala- linked to emotions
Hippocampus- linked to memory
Corpus callosum- axon fibers connecting the two cerebral hemispheres
Thalamus- relays messages between lower and brain centers and cerebral cortex
Hypothalamus- controls maintenance functions such as eating; helps govern endocrine system; linked to emotion and reward
Pituitary- master endocrine gland
Reticular formation- helps control arousal
Medulla- controls heartbeat and breathing
Spinal Cord- Pathway for neural fibers traveling to and from brain; controls simple reflexes
Cerebellum- coordinates voluntary movement and balance and supports memories of such.
Cerebral cortex- ultimate control and info-processing center.
Brocas area- controls language expression or speech
Wernickes area- language reception.
^both areas found in the left temporal lobe^
Corpus Callosum- neural fibers that connects the 2 brain hemispheres.
Association areas- higher mental function like learning, thinking, remembering, and speaking.
limbi system- located below the cerebral hemispheres associated with emotions and drives includes hippocampus, amygdala, and hypothalamus.

Why is the polarity of water molecules and hydrogen bonding essential to adhesion and cohesion?
slamgirl [31]
Cohesion and surface tension keep the hydrogen bonds of water molecules intact and support the item floating on the top. ... This is because the water molecules are attracted to the charged glass walls of the capillary more than they are to each other and therefore adhere to it.

Which best describes the current model of the atom?
Sladkaya [172]

The answer is : D. it may be revised with increasing scientific knowledge.

Explanation: Not only did I take the test, but the current model of the atom isn't similar to the model of the solar system whatsoever. Nor has it stayed the same for centuries. In fact, all of it's revision occurred in the 20th century, not several of centuries. It changed multiple times. Aside from that, the model isn't similar to the model of plum pudding. Therefore, the reasonable answer is D. The model of the atom has changed over time and will continue to do so if more is discovered.

An 80 year-old with internal bleeding is admitted through the emergency room after a motor vehicle accident. the physician has o
iragen [17]
We are given:

2 units of packed red blood cells infused over 1 hour each, so 1 unit per hour
1 unit is equivalent to 250 ml
10 gtt/mL

solve for the volume per unit time:

1 unit per hour / 1 unit /250 mL = 250 mL per hour

The flow rate in drops per minute is determined by:

- converting hours to minutes:

250 mL per hour * (1 hour / 60 minutes) =4.2 mL per minute

-multiplying gtt/ml to flow rate

4.2 mL/min * 10 gtt/mL = 42 gtt/minute

Therefore the final flow rate in drops per minute is 42 gtt per minute.<span />
