Answer:

The answer is A. The way heat energy reflects off of Earth because of the angle at which it hits.

Explanation:

The Earth has an axial tilt that causes different areas of the Earth to point toward the sun at different areas along its orbit. As one area point towards the sun, more heat energy reflects off the surface causing warmer seasons, while the other area points away and reflects less heat energy off the surface, causing colder seasons.

Answer:

C. The fact that Earth rotates around its axis

Explanation:

The seasons are caused by the tilt of the Earth's rotational axis away or toward the sun as it travels through its year-long path around the sun. The Earth has a tilt of 23.5 degrees relative to the "ecliptic plane"

Our friend says tha the primary reason astronauts in orbit feel weightless is that they are beyond the main pull of earths gravi
tino4ka555 [31]
I agree on that. it's not like there is completely no force of gravity acting on them (I mean if they're still around the earth) , it's that it's so little that they can't even notice it. they'll float around and they seems like they have no weight. this is called weightlessness.

What is meant by meridional circulation in the atmosphere?
Tamiku [17]

The correct answer is D. Air moving along lines of constant longitude

Explanation:

In geography, the word meridian refers to an imaginary line that connects the North pole and the South pole, this includes the main meridian called Prime Meridian as well as multiple longitude lines that determine East and West.

On the other hand, the meridional circulation refers to a natural phenomenon in which air and air masses move from North to South and vice-versa following longitude lines or the imaginary lines that divide the planet vertically. Additionally, the meridional circulation affects climate especially in terms of extreme weather. According to this, the meridional circulation means "Air moving along lines of constant longitude".

Find the measure of the missing angles.
h 92°
g
m|91°
k
Gnom [1K]
H=88 G=92 K=91 M=89
How you solve this is G is the same thing as 92 because it crosses each other same thing with K. Then after that you just subtract 180 by 92 to get H because the line angle equals to 180 same thing with M

Is atmospheric pressure the same everywhere on the surface of the earth?
vitfil [10]

Answer:

Atmospheric pressure differs in different parts of the world.

Explanation:

 • This is because atmospheric pressure depends on the height of a particular location on earth.
 • A number of locations on the earth are at sea level. The atmospheric pressure at sea level is 14.7 pounds per square inch.
 • At higher levels (altitudes) the atmospheric pressure is lower since higher places have got less air pushing downwards compared to lower altitudes which have more air pushing down and hence, high atmospheric pressure.
