This is Mrs. Higgins' day at home and she is very unhappy about the abrupt arrival of Henry Higgins, because from experience, she knows that he is too excentre to be presented to the kind of respectable business she expects. He reveals to her that he wants to introduce the topic of the experiment to her home for a few months, and he explains the bet he made on Pickering. Mrs. Higgins is not happy about this unwanted visit of a typical flower girl, but she is not happy until the parlor-maid shows Mrs. and Miss Wynford Hill (first-scene mother and daughter).

dangina [55]

Answer:

He was elected one of the delegates and made a speech about how he wanted to focus on a centralized government. He famously wrote 51 articles of the famous federalist papers along with John Jay and James Madison.

Explanation:

He felt there were many contradictions and issues with the Articles of Confederation, so it was eventually scrapped. He advocated for a strong centralized government which many other delegates disagreed with. By centralized government, he meant he wanted the government to have more power to tax, have a bank and a strong executive. If there wasn't  a strong centralized government, then the people could easily walk all over them.

to what extent did the British honor the treaty of 1783 which stated they recognized the United States and its new boundaries? W
Anvisha [2.4K]

The British removed their influence and recognized the US as a sovereign nation however they did not remove all of their troops from US lands.

Though the Treaty of Paris 1783 ended the Revolutionary War and Great Britain officially recognized the sovereignty and the independence of the United States. However, they did not remove troops from the US in particular along the western frontier and along the border with Canada. The continued presence of British troops was insulting enough but then the British began attacking US shipping and taking people off the boats to serve in the British army against the French in a system called impressment. These violations of US independence led to the war of 1812 which is considered the "2nd war of independence".
