The answer would be: maintain a safe cushion of space ahead and behind your vehicle. As you enter the deceleration lane or the exit ramp, slow down and maintain a safe cushion of space ahead and behind your vehicle.

EXPLANATION:

When we drive in a highway, there will be an exit ramp or most popularly known as “Deceleration Lane”. Until decelerating, it is necessary for traffic to reach the deceleration lane when leaving a highway. Decelerating in a "running" lane until moving onto a lane of deceleration will cause traffic to slow down in a domino effect behind the exiting vehicle.

Here is the two concepts of driving in deceleration lane:

1. To drivers who lose their escape — for the rest of your life you're not stuck on that lane. As a last-ditch attempt to make it off in time, you don't have to veer through traffic or slam on your brakes. It's highly dangerous and a lot of lives have been lost. Just proceed to the next interchange where you can exit and return from the other direction. It is likely to be added only a couple minutes to your travel time.

2. Aggressive drivers who think "Lane Hopping" can save time are wrong. Not only is this procedure risky, but it is not very successful as well. Actual road research has shown that any time gained by hopping the lane is negligible compared to the total travel time. The saved time is simply not worth the added risk.

Answer:

Maintain a safe cushion of space ahead and behind your vehicle

Explanation:

Driving safely is an obligation of every driver, as well as a way of respecting one's life and the lives of others on the road. For this reason, whenever he needs to drive the driver must obey all traffic laws and signs and signs on the road, must pay attention to the operation of the car and what must be done in its structure to avoid problems and accidents. An example of what the driver should do is slow down and maintain a safe space cushion in front of and behind the vehicle when entering the deceleration lane or exit ramp.
