Aunt Alexandra does not fit into the world of Jem and Scout where their is little gossip, sports, outdoor activities like running etc, much physical contacts, social difference is not of crucial importance unlike in the world of maycomb.

Scout  likes to dress in overall, hang out with Jem and acts like tomboy but Aunt Alexandra was not brought up that way. she grew up wearing dresses, attending tea parties and behaved in a way the society accepts.
