On September 16,the Mexican National Day, the day of independence,is celebrated throughout the whole country. We remember September 16,1810,when the priest Miguel Hidalgo called for armed resistance against the Spanish colonial rule. 《Long live Mexico! Long live independence!》he is said to have shouted to the crowds gathered in the small town of Dolores in the state of Guanajuato,known today as 《Grito de Dolores》.
