Answer:

d.) a mining camp

Explanation:

In Tennessee's Partner the anonymous storyteller clarifies that the genuine name of Tennessee's Partner has never been known in the mining town. Local people have named the man "Tennessee's Partner" since he collaborated with Tennessee, an entirely notorious character whose possess genuine name has been comparably annihilated from shared memory.

OverLord2011 [107]
The central idea of the passage mentioned is the differences the Pilgrims had with the Church of England. It is how it is mentioned in the passage that their Englishmen forefathers where so religious that they devote their life unto the Lord if anything would have happened to them. The pilgrims in turn told that when the Lord heard them, He just looked over their adversity but did not specifically say if the Lord has ever helped them. It showed that the Pilgrims where furious about the loyalty to the Englishmen forefathers that they in turn do not want to believe what they believed in before. That they can do it without turning themselves to the traditional way of thinking.

Label the rhyme scheme of the poem, beginning with a.
V125BC [204]
abba abba cdcdcd

This is a traditional Petrarchan Sonnet Rhyme Scheme, and even though not all lines are perfect rhymes, they are close enough.
For example the rhymes for lines 1, 4, 5, and 8 are borne, worn, turn, forlorn. "turn" is not a perfect rhyme with the 'orn' sound, but it fits in well enough to fill out the rhyme scheme.

(1) In "The Gettysburg Address," Abraham Lincoln says, "the brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it,
Dima020 [189]

Answer:

Quotation 1 contains a capitalization error.

Quotation 2 wrongly uses 'ellipses.'

Quotation 3 makes incorrect use of a comma.

Explanation:

The first quotation communicates a complete sentence and therefore, the first letter must be capitalized('The brave men') to make it grammatically correct.

In the second quotation, ellipses have been used incorrectly. It is a punctuation mark consisting of three periods('...') to indicate the omission of a word or phrase that can be inferred from the text. It communicates a complete idea but in this quotation, the idea is not completed after 'nation...' and therefore, the readers are not able to understand it.

The last quotation employs comma inappropriately succeeding the word 'finally' as the sentence is quite short and the use of comma unnecessarily breaks its meaning. There is no need for a comma here as the meaning is more clear and precise without using it.
