Personally I wouldn't classify this as Advanced Placement, but religion

This is what I was taught

But  after sinning our being has a stain left by sin.
This doesn't affect our relationship with "God", as he loves every being. But "God" and his representatives are is the only ones who can forgive and cleanse sin.

I hope this was helpful

saw5 [17]

Answer:  The reason that this is an important argument is because the United States is a secular society, which means that the social structure is not based on or tied to any one particular religion. In sociology, the process by which a society moves away from a religious framework or foundation is known as secularization.

Why have historians disagreed about the reason why our Founding Fathers wrote the Constitution?
Setler79 [48]
To some of the scholars the creation of the federal system was an effort to preserve the ideals of the Revolution by eliminating the contention and disorder that threatened the new nation; it was an effort to create a strong national government capable of exercising real authority. The Constitution was an effort to protect the economic interests of existing elites, even at the cost of betraying the principles of the Revolution, to others. And to still others, the Constitution was designed to protect individual freedom and to limit the power of the federal government.
