Language is  a system of signs represrnting ideas to convey a message. Those symbols, which are words can be arbitrary, ambiguous, abstract representations of other phenomena. Words are not intrinsically connected to what they represent. Meanings of words can shift over time. The arbitrary character allows us to invent new words.

Language is ruled guided, simply put, verbal communication is guided by unspoken but broadly understood rules.

So I would say that option A, C and D are correct.

Meanwhile, I think that option B is incorrect since a mean of communication is understood as the tool and technology employed in order to convey a message, exchange information, ideas.

I would say that all of these options can be applied to languages. Language is a system of signs representing ideas - we have our letters, or characters in Asian languages that help us write down what we want to express. B is also correct because when you communicate, be it verbal or nonverbal communication, you are using a form of a language. C is also correct because all languages have been made up by someone. D is also true because all languages have some kind of rules that govern them.

What is a hag in the contents coughing like hags
larisa [96]
In Dulce et Decorum Est, hags is used to describe young soldiers. The simile 'coughing like hags' was used because the young soldiers went into battle strong and full of life. After battle, they returned looking aged and beat down - hence 'hags' or resembling beggars.

Read the excerpt from Gilgamesh: A New English Version. Gilgamesh felt his courage return. They charged at Humbaba like two wild
aivan3 [116]

We may take the winds helping out Gilgamesh's as his "teammates". However, these winds did not come naturally but were thrown in at Humbaba, which sounds like some sort of supernatural control of weather of which Gilgamesh takes advantage to defeat his foe. We can state that Gilgamesh relies on supernatural forces because he leaped upon Humbaba as he saw him pinned down to ground by the action of winds.
