In this letter, you can touch on a range of topics. During this time period, living and working conditions were horrible for factory workers. There was little to no concern for safety or sanitation, the factories were cramped, the machines were dangerous, and the people were seen as expendable. As soon as someone was injured or even killed from working in a factory, it was easy to find someone else to replace that person, and the wages were minimal. In your letter, you can recommend that the government interfere with these companies to make sure that there are regulations to protect workers, both physically and economically. In terms of affecting England's future, you can talk about the need to make changes now in order to strengthen England's chances for a future in which health, education, and the welfare of its citizens are top priority.

DochEvi [55]

Answer:

Option c

Explanation:

In simple words, deceleration of independence refers to the document that was passed by the second continental congress in their meeting at Pennsylvanian. This document contained the deceleration of american independence from British colony and grievances against king.

However, the Constitution was implemented way after the deceleration and contained the rights and obligations of american individuals. But both of these highly significant documents were idealized from British colonies and system during American revolutionary war.

1. What can you infer from the primary source about the purpose of this piece of literature?
loris [4]

Answer:

Find the explanation below.

Explanation:

1. The primary source which is a telegram from Senator Joseph McCarthy to President Henry S. Truman was meant to raise suspicions of personnel's within the United States government whom he referred to as Communists. This happened at a time when the citizens of the United States were apprehensive about communists because of possible links to the Soviet Union.

2. The author intended that the President take his claims seriously by fishing out the names of those within the State Department whom he claimed were communists, prosecuting them, and possibly relieve them of their services.

3. The Senator was trying to be controversial. He wanted to gain cheap political points and also curry favor with the people so that he can be seen as a Senator that worked hard to prevent threats to the American nation. Then, he would be re-elected by the people in his second term.

4. This telegram helps us to see how certain political leaders can promote policies for their selfish interests and not necessarily for the people. It also shows how tense the relationship between the United States and the Soviet Union was after World War II.
