Then, a Senate investigation that undertook in 1924 revealed that the naval oil reserve landed in the 'Teapot Dome' reserve in Wyoming and other reserves landed in California due to Albert Fall's bribe. Therefore, he was arrested and sentenced for one year prison out of which he served only for nine months.
