Answer:

Your answer would be that the statement is true.

Explanation:

Adverb clauses, also called adverbial clauses, are dependent clauses that function as adverbs. As they are dependent clauses, they must have a subordinating conjunction to link them to the rest of the sentence. In the sentence above, the subordinating conjunction introducing the dependent clause is because. This clause gives us information as regards reason, the reason why he opened the door. What is more, the adverbial clause is dependent because it can't stand on its own as it does not represent a complete idea (see 1).

1) * Because the princess pointed to it

Kitty [74]

In Christopher Marlowe's The Tragical History of Doctor Faustus, Faustus begins to believe that human salvation was impossible because he read the scripture and saw that all human beings sin and are doomed. Because of this, he came to the conclusion that people can do good but still they would ultimately sin.

Christopher Marlowe's the Tragical History of Doctor Faustus

The above answer is further explained as given below:

 • Faustus concluded that people were bound to sin as it was what he read in the scriptures.

 • But what he did not know was that the Devil had made him to misinterpret the scriptures to mislead him.

Therefore, Faustus fell for the devil’s tricks and ultimately lost his soul.

Answer:

A

Explanation:

This is a wonderful passage. The detail is astonishing as only it can be in the country side. All sorts of creatures and tall tales inhabit her world and it is wonderful to follow her from paragraph to paragraph. Thank you for posting this.

Among all the detail it is hard to pick out just one that is the key to the author's affection for Antonia. Harder still to pick out an answer from our multiple choices.

I think the detail that is most important is that Antonia was trying to learn English, and she was trying to learn the skills her grandmother possessed. The grandmother was a little off kilter in the new world but she knew things that Antonia could look into later.

I think the answer you want is A. The author shows great affection for her memory of Antonia.
