Business

In every experiment, control plays an important role. In a case-control study, the control subject does not change while the case subjects might differ in characteristics from each other. A case-control study is used to identify the factors contributing to a medical condition. A case subject refers to people actually suffering from the disease. A control subject refers to people who are suffering from the disease but similar to the case study.
It is very important to match case subjects and control subject to compare and contrast the results obtained from the experiment and to derive a conclusion. The control subject also keeps a track of the experiment.

Nadusha1986 [10]

Answer:

They're very simple creatures, though: a sponge doesn't have a respiratory system, a digestive system, or a circulatory system. Instead, sponges rely on the flow of water through their bodies to bring them food and oxygen and carry waste away.

Nat2105 [25]

Answer:

The correct answer is letter "C": B2B; B2C.

Explanation:

A Business-to-Business (B2B) approach implies companies dealing between them. Goods are provided from manufacturers to retailers for the commercialization of the product. The Business-to-Customers (B2C) approach, instead, takes place when companies directly offer the product to the final user involving an investment of the firm in customer service.

Sharman Athletic Gear Inc. (SAG) is considering a special order for 15,000 baseball caps with the logo of East Texas University
Vedmedyk [2.9K]

Solution and Explanation:

The data of SAG of special order is given below:

Cost per unit = $3.50 , Allocated fix cost = $1.50 , Number of units in order = 15000

Calculated the total cost of the special order as follows:

Incremental cost per unit = Cost per unit-Allocated fix cost =$(3.50 minus 1.50) =$2

Incremental cost per unit=cost per unit-allocated fix cost =$(3.50 minus1.50) =$2

Total incremental cost 15000 unit = number of units in order x Incremental cost per unit =15000 multiply $2 =$30000

Therefore, total cost of the special order is $30000

b) Offering price by ETU = $35000. Hence, the offer made by ETU would affect the short term of the special order.

Contribution cost = $(35000 minus 30000) =$5000

A manufacturing company that produces a single product has provided the following data concerning its most recent month of opera
Ivanshal [37]

Answer:

$12,100

Explanation:

The contribution margin of a product may be defined as the price of the product minus the associated variable cost which results in the incremental profit that is earned when one unit of the product is sold. It is obtained by subtracting the total variable cost from the total sales of the product.

In the context, the total contribution margin of a product for the month under the variable costing would be $12,100 for the manufacturing company.
