The correct answers are - B. Where oceanic crust meets continental crust, and C. Earthquakes.

Subduction zones appear only on places where a crust of lower density (oceanic crust) meets a crust of higher density (continental crust).
On the places where the oceanic crust meets the continental crust, the oceanic crust goes beneath the continental crust, this makes changes and readjustments in the inner part of the crust, and plus there's significant pressure from the mantle layer from beneath, so earthquakes are a very common occurrence. <span />

Heat Islands - areas of increased temperature due to a high amount of concrete - occur
cupoosta [38]

Answer:

Heat Islands occur in cities.

Explanation:

The cities, especially the large ones, have managed to totally transform the natural landscape and create something that can not be found in nature. Humans have created large areas with very large populations. This has resulted in the extensive building, pilling up of certain materials, industry, traffic, blocking of winds, pollution, etc.

All of the aforementioned things have managed to create a micro-climate when it comes to the cities, differing from the climate in the surrounding area. Something that is often a characterisitc of the micro-climate in the large cities is the so-called ''heat island''. Basically, the materials that dominate in the cities, like concrete, asphalt, and glass, all manage to amplify the effect of the sun, accumulating and radiating heat, making the cities unbearably hot in some parts of the year.

Conclusion. The plight of refugees. How you feel the refugees should be treated
Zielflug [23.3K]
The plight of refugees is that they suffer deep emotional stresses from displacement. Fleeing their lives in search of a safer place for them to have a future brings with it poverty, fear and health issues. Upon arrival in a new country, I think that they should be treated with equality, dignity and be given the resources and tools from our society to enable them to build a new life for themselves. After their suffering and journey to seek a better place and better life, societies should embrace these people, their skills and abilities and allow them to be a part of other cultures.
