The president Thomas Jefferson favored assimilation because he believed the Indians would fight each other until they all perished unless they were assimilated. This is the most likely reason, he also considered that if they assimilated them, there would be no tensions anymore between the people who lived in the US and the native Americans who had been there before.

The correct answer is:

In Galatians 3: 8, for example, a very common text in which Paul the apostle states that every person should be treated equally, because they are "one in Christ."  That very much associates with the idea of the text "I have a dream." No matter if they are rich, poor, white, black person, or  different religion. The dream was to live in an equal society.

alex41 [277]

This quote illustrates difference between the thinking of the humans that are significant or not.

Explanation:

The quote does, in a way use an argument that goes away from what it wants to talk about but does it so that an important point is understood.

We are worried if the machines can think or not but we are not worried that most people do not use their own thinking capability to the potential either and it is something that has been an issue in the society.

The focus on machine learning before human learning does say a lot about our own priorities as a society.

Which of the following did NOT shape the character of English settlements in America?
stepan [7]

The correct answer is The colonies promoted freedom of religion.

Explanation:

English settlers first arrived on the American continent at the beginning of the 17th century and over the next years and centuries colonies were formed mainly along the east coast of the continent. These colonies partially resembled England but also were different in some aspects.

In terms of religion, the colonies were mainly restrictive. This can be explained due to the great influence of puritans who emphasized the importance of Protestantism and morals related to it. Indeed, due to this belief in some colonies such as Massachusetts those considered to be witches were persecuted. According to this, the colonies were not characterized by freedom of religion.
