Rules 1, 3, 4. i’m not sure what rule 5 is but 2 and 6 aren’t being used
I think family and peers expect more from women. As a girl, growing up, I was told not to do certain things a boy did because I should act like a lady. Because my brother dropped from school, my family expects me to graduate and go to college to get a high paying job. I feel like it’s unfair since I’m younger and I get all the pressure of trying to be the successful one in the family.
The woman tripped on the curb <em>while</em> looking at the man.
“while” shows that it is the woman who did it, and that she did two actions.
Without this word, “curb looking at the man” could be misinterpreted. The curb could not possibly look at the man as it is not a living being and does not have eyes.
