Answer:

B. The conflict has been resolved and order restored — at the expense of the Pequod, its crew, and its captain.

Explanation:

The falling action is the section of a narrative that follows the climax of a story. During the climax, the story peaks in terms of excitement. After this moment, the narrative slows down. The conflicts are resolved and the story approaches its end. This is the section of the story that describes the falling action, as it follows the death of Ahab and his crew.

The answer is:

B. The conflict has been resolved and order restored — at the expense of the Pequod, its crew, and its captain.

In literature, the falling action comes after the climax, when the main conflict has been reached and finds a resolution. In "Moby D*ck," by Herman Melville, the falling action occurs after Captain Ahab and his crew are killed by the whale.

1. The preacher fears His wifes.
Fears of wifes does not has literal meaning, rather than he just want his wife to be fulfilled. This can be seen by his efforts to keep up with all of his wife's demand despite his various obligations that took almost double of work hours on what average villagers do.

2. The answer is C. circumcision
It's a traditional believe that people around that village held according to their own culture. Any other cultures beside that village does not really see this kind of dream that way.

3. The answer is B. Passive.
Passive sentence could be characterized by auxilary verbs + Verb 3.
We can see this on . . . . are kept in . . . .

Give a VERY brief synopsis/ summary of the stave. Include one evidence from stave one to show that you have captured an importan
Luden [163]

Answer:

In stave 1, when people asking for donations for the poor, Scrooge said that they should just send the people to workhouses and prisons if they are in debt. When the men said that some would rather die than go to workhouses and prisons, he said that they should just go and die and reduce the surplus population. He also refuses to come to his nephew's Christmas party, chases away a caroler boy, and abuses Bob Cratchit. Jacob Marley, who has been dead for like 7 years, comes to him, and says that 3 ghosts will come to him, in hopes that he will change becuase he doesn't want him to suffer the same fate that he himself did. however once ghosts come to him, he changes, and gives a large check to the donation men, raises Bob Cratchit's pay, and becomes a nice guy, showing that he did indeed change, because the Scrooge that was in stave one would never get near a check that has a word relating to charity on it.

Explanation:

I did not copy or paste, I just had to read the book and take a bunch of comprehenshion checks on it.

My deepest condolences that you have to read a book as boring as that.

I hope this helped you.
