Answer:

They lacked knowledge about the land and how to use their environment to survive is the correct answer.

Explanation:

Colony of James town first permanent colony in north america and was founded in 1607. It served as the capital of Virginia for eighty years. The charter to establish the colony was given by  King James first of England. He financed an expedition of 144 men to travel on three ships and establish a colony in Americas.

The situation at the colony improved when captain John smith became the president of the colony, he was an experienced seamen and soldier. His leadership helped the colony to survive. He forced everyone to work and made a rule that those who don't work wont get food. He made this rule because many most of the settlers were sitting idle and expected others to work. They also lacked necessary skills to survive in the new environment. Later captain smith asked Virginia company to send skilled workers.

Snezhnost [94]

Answer:

Explanation:

While some argue that the more elected officers the better and more democratic a government is, some critics point out that voting too much, too often or in unending bed-sheet ballots may lead to ballot fatigue. Ballot fatigue means people stop participating and even caring about the endless electoral campaigns and the money that is spent on them.
