History

This really depends on the year. Some African women would wear beads, to show their status. The royal women didn't really dress too differently from their citizens, although there may have been a significant difference between patterns on the fabric. I'd guess they had something ornamental upon their heads. I do recall learning that women who (Research this, because I'm not too sure) showed great warrior-ism wore golden neck rings, which they wore at all times. If they took them off, their head would be unsupported and they'd be paralyzed or die. Also, what is your book's genre? My book that I've written is fantasy.

How did plato's opinion of democracy differ from that Socrates ? Why did it differ
Norma-Jean [14]
Plato was actually a student of Socrates. Their ideals were almost similar but they did differ as far as their opinion on democracy was concerned. Socrates was a great believer in democracy. He was of the opinion that the people possessed real knowledge and all good things were within the people. So he believed that democracy was the only way to gain happiness. Plato on the other hand did not believe in pure democracy, but he believed in Republic Democracy, which is a mixture of democracy and oligarchy.

What weakness of the articles of confederation most likely made it impossible for all citizens to be adequately represented
sergey [27]
The articles of confederation only allowed for one vote in its congress for each state. More clearly, each state could only cast one vote in the congress. Thus, states with lower population granted more representation for each citizen than for states with higher population. I.E. Delaware and New Jersey, 2 of the states with lower population supported this plan because it meant more power to each of its citizens.
