Garbage bags were created by Canadian inventor Harry Wasylyk in 1950. They are made from polyethylene, a versatile material and the most popular plastic in the world, which is also used in shampoo bottles, children's toys, and even bullet proof vests. The process of garbage bags begins with pouring polyethylene resin pellets into large hoppers, which are a type of container used for pouring materials into a machine. Then, they are inserted in a machine that melts them at a temperature between 365 and 465 F°. After that, the plastic mixture is pushed through a special tool to cut or shape material, which forms the plastic into a ring, this ring is then blown into a bubble. In there the plastic tube cools down and then rollers collapse the bubble into a flat tube called a film. Finally, a knife cuts the film into the measurement wanted, following this, the film is sealed on one side and perforated on the other.

What point does quindlen make by comparing present-day new york with philadelphia in her father's time?
taurus [48]
In "A Quilt Of A Country", Quindlen's point in comparing present-day New York with Philadelphia in her father's time is that in America, there is a clinging to the ethnicity, in background and custom, that has undermined the concept of unity. In her father's time in Philadelphia, Jewish boys would walk several blocks out of their way to avoid the Irish divide of Chester Avenue. I hope this helps.
