Options:

A. how cultural beliefs impact the foods we eat.

B. how some foods are considered dangerous.

C. how all humans abstain from eating beef.

D. how the cow is sacred in most cultures of the world.

Answer:

A. how cultural beliefs impact the foods we eat.

Explanation:

Not every Indian is vegetarian. In India there are Muslims, Christians and Jews who eat meat. Hindus, depending on the variety to which they belong, do not eat meat of any kind. If they are sudras (manual workers) they eat lamb, chicken and smaller birds and do not eat cows, because the cow for every Hindu is a gift from the divine mother Laksmi and supplies everyone with milk, cheese, butter and curds. It's like she's a sister of the human class.

For Hindus, there is an evolutionary hierarchy on the planet. The mineral kingdom, the vegetable kingdom, the animal kingdom (which is subdivided into crustaceans, fish, birds and mammals) are approaching the human being, which also has its evolutionary scale according to its stage.

The animals that are closest to the human scale are cows, elephants and monkeys. As humans evolve, they feed farther from their class.
