Mary's watch isn't going, she should have it repaired.

Shoud have is a past modal verb. It is followed by a past participle. These verbs are used to show something that had a chance of happening but didn't. Other past modal verb phrases are could have and would have.

Read these lines from the excerpt again: “Gregor,” somebody called—it was his mother—“it’s quarter to seven. Didn’t you want to

Gregor does not want to leave. If he did want to leave, he would've left already without his mother having to remind him.

Rewrite the sentences from active voice to passive voice:
dexar [7]

Here are some examples of answers:

1. A song was sung by Rita.

2. A restaurant was opened last year by them.

3. An interesting story was told by granny.

Now use these, and this website: https://webapps.towson.edu/ows/activepass.htm

to help you with the rest.

The way I like to remember it, is to take the first noun and the second noun and switch them, then alter the verb tense and sentence structure to make it make sense.

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore—
