Which statement have been made by an anti-federalist?
storchak [24]

Explanation:

Anti-Federalism was a late-18th century movement that opposed the creation of a stronger U.S. federal government and which later opposed the ratification of the 1787 Constitution. The previous constitution, called the Articles of Confederation and Perpetual Union, gave state governments more authority. Led by Patrick Henry of Virginia, Anti-Federalists worried, among other things, that the position of president, then a novelty, might evolve into a monarchy. Though the Constitution was ratified and supplanted the Articles of Confederation, Anti-Federalist influence helped lead to the passage of the United States Bill of Rights.

Why is the populist party generally regarded as a failure by historians
ValentinkaMS [17]

The Populist Party was a third party created due to the discontent of farmers against the major political parties (Republican and Democratic parties) because of the Gold Standard issue, and because they felt ignored. This Party is often regarded as a failure because it focused on one issue (to increase the money supply) and tried to gain the support of farmers and workers, but the workers' wants and needs were different than those of the farmers, so the Populist Party didn't had all the support it needed to succeed and ended up being absorbed by the Progressive Party. Although the Populist Party didn't succeed, it helped creating awareness of the farmers conditions, so that the Republican and Democratic parties could also focus on that side of the population.

It proved equal representation in one house of Congress

Explanation:

The Great Compromise created the House of Representatives and the Senate. The House of Representatives would have representation based by population which was good for large large states with lots of people. The Senate had equal representation from every state no matter the population. This helped the small states such as New Jersey. New Jersey was glad that there was a house of Congress that was based on equal representation.

How did modernism differ from fundamentalism
Nuetrik [128]

Fundamentalism differs from modernism in several ways.

Explanation:

The controversy between fundamentalism and modernism emerged during the 1920s. The controversy emerged in the Presbyterian church in the United States. Within the protestant faction of Christianity differences of opinion existed on several subjects like authority of scripture, death, resurrection etc.

These differences of opinion caused the development of two factions within protestant Christianity. Fundamentalists believed in an almost literal interpretation of the bible. They believed that each and every doctrine of the scripture had timeless validity.

Modernists had a different approach towards religion. They believed that religion should adapt to the advancements in science and keep up with the changes that come over with time.
