Answer:

Robert E. Lee can be described as option A. a patriot.

Explanation:

Robert E. Lee was a commander of the Confederate States Army. In the famous letter he wrote his son, his teaching concerns moral, values, behavior, and patriotism.

He tells his son of the importance of honesty. According to Lee, his son should never speak of others behind their back; he should always be firm in his words and wise in his decisions; finally, he should always do what is his duty.

Lee, regarding the topic of duty, tells a story to serve as a role model for his son. While the Legislature of Connecticut was in session, there was a sudden darkness, like an eclipse, that scared the ones who were gathered. When they talked of adjourning the meeting, one man - the old Puritan, as Lee refers to him -, stood up and claimed he would like to be found doing his duty in case it was the day of judgment (the end of times). This concept of serving your country until the very end is rooted in patriotism. Robert E. Lee is teaching his son to serve his country, even if it is his last day on Earth.

What would the rhyme scheme be in a poem whose lines end with “rise,” “see,” “lies,” “be,” “flew,” and “canoe”? A. ABBABB B. ABC
Sergio039 [100]
The answer is C ABABCC
If you label the first word as A then you find what rhymes with "rise" which is the 3rd word "lies" So we know its A?A??? as none of the other words rhyme with rise.
The second word to be labelled would be "see" which we label as B, "see" and "be" rhyme so we now know that the pattern is ABAB??
The last two words are "flew" and "canoe" which both rhyme so we would label these as C.
That makes the rhyme scheme ABABCC.

If there were more words you would repeat this process until you reached the end of the poem.

katen-ka-za [31]

Answer:

Circumstantial evidence, in the context of law, means evidence that can only be proven through the support of another fact.

Explanation:

In other words, the evidence cannot stand on its own. In the context of the example, for example, it would be that the bus driver was found guilty of murder since his fingerprints were found in the scene of the crime.

However, his fingerprints alone do not tell us who is the culprit of the murder - it's possible that his fingerprints were there because he and the murder victims were close friends, and thus his fingerprints can be found all over the apartment.

When relying merely on circumstantial evidence (such as one previously exemplified), it is possible that the evidence is misattributed. A piece of stronger evidence would be direct ones, for example, if the murder weapon was found on him, or if there were eyewitness report showing that he was at the scene of the crime when it occurred.
