English

Answer:

B. Meat eaters think vegans have "balance" and "maturity."

Explanation:

In <em>A Defense Of Veganism, </em>the narrator relates the account of a group of  vegan protesters who caused a scene outside of a restaurant holding placards that says "murder" in front of it.

The situation seemed to reach a climax when the owner of the restaurant in a clear act of defiance, cut up and ate a deer leg near the window of the restaurant.

When the photos and videos of the protest went viral on social media, the vegans were described by users as being "zombie eyed" and meat eaters clearly felt that the vegans lacked balance and were "mean from hunger" and also lacking in maturity.

Vika [28.1K]

A: "The student<u>'s</u> face went palid". It's necessary to place an apostrophe plus an "s" to the end of the noun "student" to indicate possession, that is to say, to indicate that it was the face of the students.

B: No error. The question structure is correct.

C: "Bad meaning <u>it's</u> bad" The apostrophe here is used to contract the words "it" and "is". Without the apostrophe, the sentence is confusing as "its" refers to the possessive pronoun or the possessive adjective of "it".

D: "bad meaning <u>it's</u> good". To have a more proper structure sentence, this clause should follow the structure of the prior sentence.

Explanation:

I'm not an expert on this, but I think A is the most suitable answer in this case because the example mentioned demonstrates that the soldier, being in very troubling circumstances, has a passion that helps him understand that success is not defined by literal triumph, material gain, etc, but from his perseverance.
