How were royal colonies from coporate colonies ?

Corporate colonies were funded by joint stocks and allowed investors to have a vote on the way to run a colony. Corporate colonies had a charter granted by the English monarch to stockholders. 

In 1624, the English monarch began to shift the colonies into royal colonies. Such colonies were under the direct control of the monarch. Royal colonies were under the direct order of the king. He appointed the governors.
