</span>2) In the second part of the letter, Cardinal Bellarmine stated that those who wrote Holy Scriptures could not lie, therefore the theory of the sun in the centre of a great deal of planets makes no sense. He also added that he would not believe that there is such a demonstration, until it was shown him.</span>
