It was when Odysseus was trying to lift the spirits of his crew as he retells how they were able to sneak out of the Cyclops’ cave. He added if they listen to his advice and orders they will make it back home no what manner of danger awaits them. Another is when he tries to assure himself that if he is able to take what the Gods throw at him, he will be able to finally make it back home.

1. My family and I sat in the family room, glued to the TV as we watched Neil Armstrong step onto the surface of the moon.

2. We rode our bikes to the ice cream shop and stood outside without going in. We walked, hoping to catch my dad before he went home for the day.

Will give 10 points PLEASE DO BOTH PARTS
LUCKY_DIMON [66]

The last time I used a text reference successfully to preview, prepare for, review, or locate the information I was learning was precisely last week.

How does it guide individuals involved in this process?

Well, you can think about something about your school that you think could work differently. For example, switching classes, lunch procedures, anything! Or at home, like how chores might be done. Anything that you can find a better way for can be an idea.

Think of a time when you needed to prepare information for something you were learning.

For example, maybe you were studying a particular subject in class and needed to make a presentation on it. In order to prepare for it, it is likely that you needed to obtain additional information on the subject and that you did so by looking at a text.

Which line in the excerpt from “Out, Out—” by Robert Frost uses metonymy?
Novay_Z [31]
I think the line 'Since he was old enough to know, big boy' is the best line in the excerpt that uses metonymy. This is because the phrase 'he was old enough' is just an expanded meaning of the phrase 'big boy' - which is what metonymy is all about.
