Answer the questions to analyze the epic simile. what is odysseus being compared to? what theme does this comparison suggest?
MariettaO [177]

A):  Odysseus is being compared to a damaged ship because he says thinking my mast and keel would come back to the surface when she spouted.

B): The answer would be having patience is tough but can lead to a reward because the ship finally comes out of the sea.

Theme:

Odysseus is avenging the suitors' lack of respect for and the servants' lack of loyalty to his office, his property, and his family. The theme of appearance versus reality is at the core of the relationship between Athena and Odysseus.

give me a good poem out of classics for young readers volume 7 and tell me what kind of mood it puts you in
inessss [21]

Answer:

Oh Captain My Captain

Explanation:

It gives me the feeling of excitement because you're going on an adventure with you captain; but as the poem goes to an end, it makes you feel sad because your captain dies. Instead of having a good adventure with the captain, you had to postpone it.

A short summary of the outsiders please. Thanks!
nadya68 [22]
The Outsiders are about a journal entry that the main character Ponyboy is writing for his English Homework. He is part of the group called the Greasers. Another group are the Socs and they are enemies. One day Ponyboy and his friend Johnny find themselves in trouble with the Socs. While they are fighting, Johnny takes out his knife and stabs Bob, fatally killing him. They run away to an abandoned church, where they stay a couple of days. Soon, Dally picks them up and they see that the church is up in flames and some kids are trapped in there. They go rescue them but a giant piece of wood falls on Johnny and is sent to the hospital. The rest of the gang is there and Johnny is charged for killing Bob. Because of the Socs and the Greasers have a fight. The Greasers win. Unfortunately, Johnny dies in the hospital and Dally robs a store because of this. As he is running with the merchandise, he is hot by the police. The story ends just how it started as Ponyboy is writing his journal entry about these vents.
