What do you think about the role of nationalism in uniting and dividing citizens?
Digiron [165]
Nationalism serves as a uniting force. The recent World Cup united each country, where people came together as aspirants for their team and, ultimately, their country. These fans were united in cheering for their players and equally united in recovering from defeat. This illustrates the spirit of national identity. By taking a strong sense of who we are, dishonor and fright become foreign concepts. We developed to be bold and confident, sometimes overly so. We become so occupied in our views that we drown in circumstances of opposition. We cross the boundaries to defame others in the name of unity. Unfortunately, that is where unity is no longer present, and the individual is singled out. Mistreating a national identity as superior is not appropriate. Although we are citizens of whatever country, everybody is a citizen of this one planet called Earth.

forsale [732]

The core beliefs of Christianity is Jesus is the Son of God and Jesus is the Messiah.

Explanation:

Christianity is one of the world religions and there are a few core beliefs in Christianity. Christians believe that the words of God are true and there is no fallacy in the Holy Gospel. • Jesus is the Son of God and is equal with God (John 1:1, 49; Luke 22:70; Mark 3:11; Philippians 2:5–11). This is the core belief of all the Christians. They believe in monotheism.

He came from the Holy father and he is the son of God who descended to relieve people from their sins as how a pregnant mother does all work inn order to give birth to a new life similarly Lord Jesus purifies the heart of the sinners when the individual surrenders his sins.

Briefly explain how the advertisement reflects changes in American society in the 1920s.
Anestetic [448]

Answer:

One example of American society being reflected by this ad is the introduction of hip hop to the American music scene. The radio allows all Americans to enjoy this new form of music right in their own home.

Another example of American society being reflected by this ad is the use of women to romanticise a product, something that is still done to this day, although the height of this practice may have peaked in the late nineties.

One example of American society that contradicts the impression in the advertisement is that the television did not exist yet to the consumer markets and so this really is a more unrealistic portrayal of American society.
