Since you do not mind paying, I would recommend to order it from the professionals. The result will be outstanding and you would not need to worry about the deadline or the quality. I turn to the guys from Prime Writings quite often and I recommend you do it too.

How do Dr. Gurley's contrasting statements about grief and hope create a structure that aptly describes that moments in history?
Vladimir [108]

Answer:

The author's contrasting statements create a cause and consequence structure in the text, which shows the reasons why people mourn Lincoln, but also shows the causes and reasons for hoping that Lincoln's legacy will be continued by those who respect you

Explanation:

The author presents the reasons why the population mourns Lincoln's death, showing how he left a legacy for all his work in the leadership of the country and in the management that managed not only to unite the country, but also to rebuild it. These causes provoke suffering, but they also provoke the hope of God's providence that will allow this legacy to be continued. That's because the author claims that God only allows suffering to those he loves and if God loves America, it means that he will promote Linconl's legacy to be continued.

What does the first stanza of "Some Keep the Sabbath Going to Church" suggest about the speaker’s view of religious customs?
myrzilka [38]

The answer is B. She participates in religious customs in an unconventional way.

EXPLANATION

Emily Dickinson was born in Amherst, Massachusetts, on December 10, 1830, to a prominent family that is influential to its communities. This makes her an American poet. She spent her seven years during her early age studying in Amherst Academy for and then briefly attended the Mount Holyoke Female Seminary before returning back to her family’s house. Dickinson was rather notorious for her isolation way of life. Dickinson was considered an unusual person, to the point of eccentricity.

During her life, she developed a love for white clothing and her unwillingness to greet guests, to the point in later life to even leave her bedroom. Most of her friendship with others relied heavily on correspondence.

Dickinson’s ways of writing poems are unique to her era. Dickinson wrote more than 1000 poems, nearly as many as 1800 during her lifetime, although only fewer than a dozen were actually published. Dickinson made use of many short lines, typically lacking titles and making slant rhyme her main delivery style. Many Dickinson’s poems revolved around the themes of death and immortality, of which she discussed many times with her friends.

Even though most of Dickinson’s acquaintances were aware of her writings, it was not until her death when Dickinson’s sister, Lavinia discovered her cache of poems and then made her work public. Dickinson’s poems were subject to heavy editing especially when her first work was printed in 1890 by her personal Mabel Loomis Todd and Acquaintances Thomas Wentworth Higginson. Only starting from 1955 Dickinson’s original, mostly unchanged work became available by Thomas H. Johnson who published The Poems of Emily Dickinson.

Read chapter 1, “The Prison-Door,” from The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne and answer the question that follows.
Andreas93 [3]

Answer: E. They are a conservative and pious community.

Explanation:

The opening description of the men whom were in “sad-colored garments”, “steeple-crowned hats” and “bareheaded” or hooded women simply shows that the characters were in a conservative and pious community.

The introduction to the Puritan society coupled with the "sad-colored garments" and steeple-crowned hats” shows that the community was dour, and judgmental and the community had people who were traditional, conservative and deeply religious.

Therefore, the correct option is E.
