nk the lyrics of these "advice songs" have had on American culture in the 1940s, 50s and 60s? Were their songs so popular strictly because of their very appealing melodies and harmonies, or did people really come to believe the advice they were being given? Or is it possible that the very appealing melodies and harmonies persuaded audiences to become more receptive to the advice?

nikdorinn [45]

Answer:

The constitution's authors thought that the population could easily be deceived by a friendly and charismatic candidate.

Explanation:

The electoral college is a controversial institution today because it limits one of the greatest elements of democracy, which is the power of the people to choose their own leaders. This is because, as you already know, the electoral college is the institution that gives the last word on who should be the president of the republic, even if the choice of the electoral college is different from the choice of the people.

The electoral college was created because the creators of the constitution believed that the population could choose an inappropriate candidate due to the charisma and sympathy that this candidate presented.

Read the legend titled "The Bird Chief."
malfutka [58]

Answer:

A summary of this story should begin with:

C. by explaining that all the birds came together for a contest.

Explanation:

The purpose of a summary is tell the story in a shorter way. It should not eliminate important information, nor should it include unnecessary information. In this particular case, we should maintain the beginning of the story as the beginning of the summary. If we skip it, the story will not make sense. Everything that happens happens because of the contest between the birds. Therefore, a summary of this story should begin with C. by explaining that all the birds came together for a contest.
