Yes Onomatopoeia is the right answer because the poem is talking about how the person “clattered and clashed” which is a sound you make with your feet if you are tired or not clear of your surroundings. Hope this helps!

Pls help me. pls give the answer
Ksju [112]
The dark clouds gave me a glimpse that it was going to rain. It rained so hard. There was so much puddles when I was walking. Rain is such a soothing sound it makes me feel very calm. Also I don’t really like rain when I’m out because I hate the feeling of getting wet when I have clothes on. When I was out there was so much people carrying umbrellas.

In “The Lady of Shalott” by Alfred, Lord Tennyson, what causes the curse to take effect?
anastassius [24]
D. Sir Lancelot rides by on his horse.

Lady Shalott was a lady living all alone in a tower near Camelot. She's cursed and she didn't know what the curse was. She must only weave images on her loom reflected from her mirror the busy life of the people in Camelot. But she didn't look directly down there.
Until one day, she saw Sir Lancelot riding by on his horse down to Camelot. She was fascinated by the knight's face, so she stopped weaving and looked directly down at Camelot to where he was heading. Because of this incident, the mirror cracked from one side to the other, bringing about the curse.

The main cause is the appearance of Sir Lancelot to the lady's eyes because that causes her to stop weaving and to look directly down Camelot which therefore causes the mirror to crack. The cracking of the mirror is only a sign that the curse has taken effect not the cause.

What was the turning point in haiti's history?
Arisa [49]

The real turning point in Haiti's history was the Haitian Revolution from 1791-1804. The revolution was a slave revolt in the then French colony of Saint Domingue. It was the only successful slave led revolution in history and it culminated in he elimination of slavery and founding of the Republic of Haiti. Prior to the revolution, Haiti had been a colony ruled by France within the Americas. Its inhabitants were either slaves, freed people of colour and mulattos, or white-French colonists. After the revolution, no white French were allowed to remain in Haiti and were forced to move or be killed.
