John Smith was an English explorer, soldier, and colonial governor of the Virginia colony, which was based at Jamestown. He was the first Englishman to map the Chesapeake Bay area, and he also mapped the coast of New England.

Explanation:

Focusing on diversity of color or diversity of race is not what we should be focusing on but instead diversity of thought. Focusing on race is what racists do. If the population wanted a diverse government they would have voted for one. Just because a particular segment of a group is one race does not mean it's a problem. we have a democracy. As private citezins we should ensure our democracy prevails because whatever the people want is what will be found in Congress or politics.

it is basically an opinion answer. there is no wrong answer per se but Lincoln's plan was more moderate. His biggest desire was to re-unite the country, not to punish them. they probably would have been more ok with what the Radical Republicans wanted which was to punish the South.

Oxens were more reliable and tougher than mules. They will eat poor grass. Oxen were very strong and could haul fully-loaded wagons up ravines or drag them out of mudholes. A large wagon needed at least three pairs of oxen to pull it.
